Our Founder

Pradeep Pansari founded Decolux Window Fashions in 1995 in Kolkata, India, driven by a desire to bring premium quality window coverings to the Indian market. Dissatisfied with the sub-par textiles commonly used for window blinds, Pradeep was determined to offer a superior alternative. He envisioned a trading house that would provide Indians with access to high-grade, eco-friendly fabrics for their homes & office spaces.

Starting with the import of premium quality textiles, Pradeep's commitment to excellence quickly distinguished Decolux from its competitors. He prioritised luxurious, high-quality textiles and hardware solutions that not only looked beautiful but also met stringent international health and environmental standards. Each product underwent rigorous testing to ensure compliance and uphold the company's reputation for superior quality.

GREENGUARD Certification is a mark of excellence in indoor air quality of our textiles. Our products have been tested for over 10,000 chemicals and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) to ensure they meet rigorous standards for low emissions.

NFPA®

The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) sets the benchmark for fire safety standards. NFPA Certification indicates that our textiles have been rigorously tested and meet the stringent fire retardancy standards established by the NFPA.

SGS 100®
